The Hammer and Mic podcast's chief purpose is to educate people on the dangers of collectivism, by connecting modern-day events and news with historical Communist atrocities.
The podcast's host, Andre Mackey is a college student in South Dakota, who grew up in Washington State. Andre got involved in politics, economics, and government when he was 13 years old, during the COVID-19 breakout. At 15 years old, he began translating, compiling, and analyzing Chinese economic data. This was until the translation project was ultimately shut down when the Chinese Communist Party stopped releasing data altogether. Andre aims to continue the fight against collectivism by educating his fellow Americans.

Andre Mackey

I am Andre Mackey, the host of this podcast. I worked as a Chinese economic translator in high-school, collecting data about the economy from the Communist Party of China (CPC), and giving it to American investors. After a few months of the operation, the CPC shut down publication of economic data. I continue my pursuit to dismantle collectivism by starting this podcast, educating the people of America on the dangers of such evil and inhumane regimes. Currently, I am attending college in South Dakota.
I believe in the exertion of our God-given first amendment by engaging in open dialogue with people of opposing beliefs and values to strengthen both parties' knowledge and ideologies. The echo-chamber reality of America will end when the people are engaged.
